A beautiful Life of mine worth to be kept here

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein

Identity

IDENTITY

One question which always seems to be the very popular one when someone got fed-up with his or her life will asks WHO AM I ? Am I someone that really contributes to the society or just another parasite in the society to reap what are good in the society and just ignore what those that are bad ?Am I someone famous after I did something unusual or something which has never been done before so that I get the media’s attention? Or rather will I say I am just someone ordinary and has nothing to do with this society that I am living in and I am just hoping that I will be able to earn a living and enjoy myself in it? Or it could be the worst that you can ever imagine of, someone who isn’t of any contributor but just spoiler of everything or it can be the society’s impediment to more developments. So who am I actually to even to write this and tell you who you are or even to remind myself of who I am actually?

I am nobody in this world who tries my very hard to be somebody but in the end I am still a nobody if me myself choose to be the nobody I used to be. But before this question is asked, another question need to be asked which is who sets the standard of who I am? Am I the one to set the standard for myself to be who I wanted to be? If this is the case, many will never complaint enough of how they didn’t get to be who they wanted to be and instead ended up in being somebody under someone’s expectation or rather ended up something which they never have expected in their life. Doing something extraordinary means something to you? A lot of extraordinary people who did something which others aren’t able to do or they are the pioneers in doing it said that they have never expected themselves to achieve what they have achieved today. It is totally out of their expectations in doing things as what they are doing now. So again we will have to come back to the question who sets the standard in saying that this is what you are going to do in your life and you shall have no regrets about it but instead be proud of what you will be doing. Then only we can answer the question of who are we actually. But how can we solve this if we ourselves don’t even know what is going to happen in the next minute, there might be a power failure and I couldn’t type what’s in my mind now to be conveyed to you if you are reading this. Or there might be an earthquake or rather second tsunami to come as you know I live on a little island in Malaysia called Penang. Maybe I am just too pessimistic about life and I should say something like wow maybe the next minute someone will call up to me and say you have won yourself a new car in a lucky draw competition which you have entered last month. Or maybe the girl that I have been falling in love with will call up me and confess to me that she loves me so much. And if this really happen, the first thing that is going to happen to me will be I am flat on the floor because I just fainted. So how can we actually determine our future if even the next minute we don’t even know what will happen? Then if we can’t even answer the first question, how are we going to answer for the second question? Who am I? Is it others who determines who am I? I live as how my parents wanted me to be. They wanted me to be a doctor when I grown up so I make sure I am good in my biology so to ensure my path to become a doctor is safe. Or will the someone in your life you have decided to be together with decides who you are? He or she wants you to be more gentle while you are not even a person who can talk softly. Will you submit to him or her as u get along with he or she? U can have a list of that whom couples who are together always complaint between each other about their shortcomings and both of them wanted one another to be someone in their mind as a lover should be. Or can it be the teacher in your primary school who always treated you as her pet in class determines who you are? There can be so many person in your life whom you have met in different levels of your life as you journey along it. So the question is are they someone who determines who you want to be or rather you yourself who choose to be who you wanted to be since young? This question will never ends here if you are a Christian who believes that there is a God who made us who we are and how we are going to be like in the future. I believe that this God is going to determines my future and my everything in life. I shall rest my life upon you as you gave it to me and I pray that you will mould me into who you want me to be. So IDENTITY , is it about you , me or rather the one who created all of us…..i shall leave this question to you to answer it for yourself.
